Good Faith Estimate | Ashé Counseling
Clear costs before care

Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to understand the expected cost of your care. If you are uninsured or will not be using insurance, Ashé Counseling & Coaching will provide an estimate of the anticipated charges for your scheduled services.

The No Surprises Act

Know what to expect before services begin.

Federal law requires healthcare providers to give clients who do not have insurance, or who choose not to use insurance, an estimate of the expected cost of scheduled healthcare services.

An estimate, not a bill.

Your Good Faith Estimate outlines reasonably expected charges based on the information available when it is prepared.

01 · Eligibility

Who may receive a Good Faith Estimate

You may receive a Good Faith Estimate when you schedule services with Ashé Counseling & Coaching and:

Uninsured

You do not have health insurance

You are not enrolled in a health plan that will pay for the service.

Self-pay

You are not using insurance

You have insurance but choose not to use your benefits for the scheduled service.

Using insurance? Your health plan may provide a separate estimate of your deductible, copayment, coinsurance and other out-of-pocket costs.
02 · Your estimate

What your estimate will include

  • The clinician expected to provide services
  • The anticipated service and billing code
  • The expected charge for each service
  • The projected frequency and duration of treatment

Because psychotherapy is individualized, the total number of sessions cannot always be known at the beginning of treatment.

03 · Standard rates

Current self-pay service fees

Individual therapy$145Per standard session
Couples therapy$165Per standard session
This webpage is not your personalized estimate. Your official Good Faith Estimate will be provided directly to you in writing or electronically.
04 · Timing

When you will receive your estimate

  • Within 1 business day when services are scheduled at least 3 business days in advance
  • Within 3 business days when services are scheduled at least 10 business days in advance
  • Within 3 business days when you request an estimate before scheduling
05 · Changes in care

Why your actual costs may differ

Your actual charges may change if your treatment plan, clinician, session frequency, service type or length of care changes.

06 · Your protections

If your bill is higher than your estimate

$400

You may have the right to dispute the bill.

If a final bill is at least $400 more than the amount shown on the Good Faith Estimate, you may qualify for the federal dispute resolution process.
