A Bit About Me
As a therapist, my goal is to create a space for clients to build off their strengths, get unstuck from unhelpful patterns, and access new pathways for healing. Clients who work with me experience me as thoughtful, grounding, and calming. They know that I will lead with compassion and consideration, even as I challenge them to expand and grow. When working with clients, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I strongly
believe in honoring clients’ histories and past experiences. They are a part of our story and they offer
insight and wisdom. I also believe in the power of the present moment and help clients cultivate awareness of themselves and of opportunities that can enhance their lives.
I am originally from the Southside of Chicago and later moved to the suburbs. I received my Bachelor of
Arts in Global Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I received my Masters in Social
Work from the University of Vermont. My education and lived experiences are a massive inspiration to my

I became a social worker because I value work that considers and honors the many facets of living and
wellness.
What type of clients are you most excited to work with?
I'm most excited to workwith clients that are ready to do the work and ready for positive change!
What's one thing you wish all clients knew?
I wish all clients knew that they are not alone and that we all have more in common than we often realize.
