She/Her
Hi, I'm Anna, a MSW student at UIC. I am excited to work with you to help manage your mental health and to identify and work through your goals in seeking therapy. I have a BA in Psychology and grew up in Boston, and I love wearing fun jewelry to brighten up my day. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where you feel comfortable sharing what is going on in your life and working together to process, try out new perspectives, and move with your best foot forward. Life can be tough but you are tougher!

Therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and feel supported as you navigate life’s challenges. I see it as a place to ask meaningful questions, deepen your self-understanding, and explore the choices that shape your path forward.
My approach is rooted in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you can be open and honest with yourself. My role is to walk alongside you, offering safety, encouragement, and space to explore the difficult questions we often push aside in the busyness of daily life. I draw from trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and strength-based approaches to meet you where you are.
Together, we can reflect on past experiences to better understand patterns and habits while also focusing on the present and the future you want to create.
As a Latina woman, I am passionate about making therapy accessible and inclusive, especially for communities that have historically faced barriers to care. My goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered in your healing journey. If you feel we might be a good fit—or even if you just have questions—I’d be glad to connect with you.

I believe that each session with a client should be rooted in empathy, compassion and inclusivity so that we may foster a safe & judgement free space to explore with one another. Explore what you ask? Well, many people seek therapy because something in their life isn’t working, or because challenging emotions or past experiences are holding them back in some way. This is especially true for many queer youth & adults alike. My goal is to walk alongside clients as we work collaboratively to overcome their past, understand themselves, become mindfully present, and gain the confidence to make the choices that lead them where they want to go.
I am currently enrolled in the final year of the Jane Adams College of Social Work masters program, at the University of Illinois Chicago. This year I have the privilege of interning with Ashé Counseling as I work towards obtaining my clinical license & I am exactly where I want to be! Ashé believes in providing a holistic & client-centered approach, which is exactly what I am about. As a queer, non-binary, mixed-latinx first-generation student entering the field, I have come to experience first hand the necessities of having people present in the welfare system who are like myself, to help navigate a society that was not shaped with intersectionality in mind. When we are able to enter a therapeutic relationship with someone who can truly see us, this relationship becomes a primary source of healing & can be fundamental in creating lasting, positive change in our lives! Be it navigating concerns related to anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, identity exploration, self-esteem, or life transitions, I am here to serve as an advocate for you and to support you at every step of your growth journey.
As passionate as I am about this work & being an advocate of change, I am equally as passionate about living a balanced personal life that revolves around self-care. For me, this looks like using my free time to practice reading Tarot, walking the city, spending quality time with friends & family, writing creatively, dancing to house & techno, gaming, reading fantasy novels, staying committed to ongoing sessions with my own therapist, meditation and sometimes just…doing nothing

Sick is not weak. Tired is not weak. Crying is not weak.
I’m Sky (she/her), a second-year Master of Social Work student at the University of Chicago, originally from China. I am passionate about supporting people through life's challenges and helping them feel safe, seen, and understood. My practice is client-centered and goal-oriented, grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity to know themselves deeply and to thrive. I draw on mindfulness, positive psychology, cultural awareness, and the performing arts to create a therapeutic space where your identity, experiences, and emotions are honored. Humor, joy, sadness, patience, and spirituality all have a place here, and together we can explore challenges, celebrate strengths, and find healing.
Let's appreciate YOU.

Sometimes in life, we find ourselves feeling stuck, carrying the quiet weight of trying to hold everything together. We may feel the pull for support but not know where to turn or how to begin.
In therapy, I offer a space where you can slow down and just be. Together, we can explore the past and present while finding ways to build the future you want. My approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and strength-based, weaving in mindfulness and expressive arts as pathways to rediscover joy and connection.
So often, we move through the world wearing masks and holding everything in. Here, you don’t have to do that. Through my own life challenges and as a Black woman, I understand the importance of having a safe, inclusive, and socially conscious space where you can finally let your guard down.
My goal is to always offer that space, one where you feel seen, supported, and free to heal at your own pace in a way that fits best for you. If you feel like we might be a good fit, or if you have any questions, please reach out.

She.Her
Hi, my name is Yichun (pronounced “Yee-chun”). I am a clinical social work therapy intern and a first-generation Chinese immigrant. Having navigated life between cultures, identities, places, and values, I understand the challenges of feeling “in-between.” I believe we all carry resilience and inner strengths that can guide us through confusion, pain, and change.
I know starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or intimidating, so my goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for you to reflect and explore. I honor that healing is a non-linear and deeply personal process. In our work together, I will meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your unique needs. Together, we can strengthen your sense of self, process past experiences, navigate relationships, and develop tools for growth and healing.
My therapeutic approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Therapy. I view the therapeutic relationship as a powerful vehicle for healing and change. I look forward to hearing your story and walking alongside you on your journey.
