A Bit About Me
I am a Clinical Therapist at Ashé Counseling & Coaching specializing in perinatal and postpartum therapy. I
am very patient, empathic, and creative. My clients view me as a warm, attentive, and self-aware clinician. I
am passionate about pregnancy and parenthood and love working with mothers and parents-to-be.
My goal is to work together with pregnant and postpartum people struggling with the anticipation and
transition of adding a child to the family. This may manifest as anxiety, depression, or relentless stress. I
largely use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with my clients, but also draw from other
evidence-based modalities including Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and
Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I grew up in Evanston, directly north of Chicago, and received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the
University of Chicago. In college I majored in psychology, particularly focused on infant and child
psychology, and minored in visual arts.
When I am not working or in school, I enjoy reading, traveling, and making art. I also love cooking and am
on a mission to try all the best restaurants in Chicago.
