Responsibilities

This is more than your average front desk, intake coordinator position Working as a client relations coordinator at Ashe Counseling & Coaching can be a highly fulfilling job that allows you to not only have a positive impact on the clients’ experience but also on the community by improving access to mental health services.

  • Warmly greet every patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive statement

  • Keeps waiting area clean and comfortable

  • Schedule patient appointments in person or over the phone by showing empathy for their needs and limitations

  • Accurately  conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

  • Collect co-pays from patients with attention to detail

  • Respond to inquiries for information from clients, providers, and coworkers in a timely manner and with a positive attitude.

  • Community Outreach 

  • Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA protocols

  • Distributes mail and deliveries. Manages fax log inbox and outgoing mail. Order office supplies as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifcations

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • 1 Year of Customer service experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Insurance Verification Experience

  • Bilingual

  • Previous Mental Health  Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout a workday/shift

  • Appropriate manual dexterity to enable typing (including10-key) throughout a workday/shift

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs, safely, from ground to waist using proper body mechanics

  • Ability to carry office supplies up to 10lbs

  • Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction

  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
